Chris Mendes

Party Leader

Chris has transitioned from being an enthusiastic member of the political Left, to now being a highly charged and fierce opponent of the Left.

Rejecting the over simplified narrative from the politicians of the Labour Party he was once a member of, Chris now holds a very different point of view.

Pro-Brexit and highly sceptical of government power, Chris opposes self-centred politicians who insist that heavy-handed, and often wasteful, government schemes are the answer to every wrong and the source of every opportunity, disregarding the importance of individual self-confidence and self-reliance .

Chris is especially concerned with advancing individual freedom, liberty and democracy, and ultimately the ability of people to make the right choices for themselves that only they can know.

EU Referendum 2016

Chris was highly active during the referendum on the UK’s membership of the European Union in 2016, co-running the Leave campaign on the ground in his hometown of Croydon.

For eight months leading up to polling day Chris was handing out leaflets, speaking to passers-by, knocking on doors and speaking at a number of public meetings.

Chris contributed a huge physical effort, affording all campaign materials himself personally, all throughout the campaign in order to do all he could to help the country vote for independence and national self-government.

Outside of Politics

Professionally Chris is a software engineer specialising in digital media for a wide-range of industries.

Chris was a TA Army Reservist for several years, first with B Company, the London Regiment (PWRR) and later 41 Signal Squadron, 38 Signals Regiment. Attaining the rank of Lance Corporal, Chris was a Physical Training Instructor responsible for maintaining the physical fitness of his squadron.

A sporty personality, Chris plays casual and competitive football while supporting Arsenal.

About Us

Founded by grassroots campaigners, we are working to establish a new political force offering a genuinely alternative way forward for the country for the consideration of the people.

With politics so detached from the people, we are pro-Brexit and want radically empowered citizens. We especially value and vow to fight for national self-government, freedom, liberty and democracy.
