We must stand up for free speech before it’s too late

The Left is succeeding in proscribing what we can and cannot say. It’s time to act.

No one has the right not to be offended

Freedom of speech is the most fundamental facet of what it means to be a free human being. It is also essential for exploring ideas and building a consensus in society.

It is right to outlaw speech that breaches the peace and leads to real harm to others, but outlawing insult and offence is absurd.

What is offensive differs from person to person and from time to time. It is impossible to objectively define what is offensive. We must reject this childish morality and stand up for free speech.

If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.

We Have the Power to Make a Difference

What needs to happen next

We must:

Establish a serious insurgent party to obtain support and put greater freedom on the agenda

Lead a national conversation to reassert our historic British values around liberty and democracy

Elect local councillors and Members of Parliament that will prioritise freedom, tolerance and humility

The Foundation Party

The people are the masters, not the servants

Our party motto (above) points to the fundamental change of attitude we need.

A modern society revolves around your choices rather than those of politicians sitting in an ivory tower.

We believe in the freedom to choose. We want to enhance your degree of choice and amplify your voice.

Free Speech

Legal protection of information, ideas and opinions

Choice in Govt Services

21st century public services tailored to your unique needs

Permanent national independence outside the EU

Lower/Fewer Taxes

A more free and productive bottom-up economy

What Prioritising Your Choice Looks Like

Foundation Party policies

I’m an elected Foundation Party councillor  because I believe in democracy and greater accountability.

The main parties too often take the people for granted. Too many councils waste our money and run services poorly – if they haven’t bankrupted them. It’s time for a change of attitude.
