Labour doesn’t speak for working people anymore
The Labour Party is stuck in the past.
We need a fresh 21st century party that is compassionate but also respects individual opinion and choice.
The Labour Party – Not Fit For Purpose
Where Labour have lost their way

Tried to Overturn a Referendum Result
When we voted to leave the EU, Labour actively fought to discard the result they didn’t like and re-run the referendum in a gross betrayal of democracy.

Woke and Intolerant of Other Opinions
Labour believes that white people must apologise for their “white privilege”, men can be women and women can be men if they just say so, and you’re a bigot if you think otherwise.

Happy With Illegal Immigration
It is not unreasonable to expect our borders and our laws to be respected, and for migrants to avoid criminal people smugglers. Labour disagrees and will attack you for raising the issue.

Hatred Towards Successful People
Labour’s divisive politics today is based on a loathing of anyone with wealth. We do not need to villinaise the successful in order to help the poor.

Against Grammar Schools
Grammar schools enable academically bright kids from poor families to climb. Labour’s policy however, ‘if everyone cannot have something, no one can‘, is just plain spitefulness.

In Favour of Unlimited Immigration
We can be open or strict towards immigration, but unlimited mass immigration has consequences for everyone. Labour won’t debate the issue, just call people names instead.
And many more!
We need a new party that is kind but also respects individuality
Labour does not have a monopoly on kindness in politics. There is an alternative way that offers compassion but without obstructing the freedom and opportunity of others.
We each live very different lives with different desires, talents and ambitions. The person in the end who knows which decisions are best for you, is not a politician, but you.
The aim ought to be to withdraw one-size-fits-all solutions from above and enhance your freedom to choose.
The Foundation Party
The people are the masters, not the servants
Our party motto (above) points to the fundamental change of attitude we need.
A modern society revolves around your choices rather than those of politicians sitting in an ivory tower.
We believe in the freedom to choose. We want to enhance your degree of choice and amplify your voice.
Choice in Govt Services
21st century public services tailored to your unique needs
Self-Government
Permanent national independence outside the EU
Guaranteed Income
A more compassionate form of welfare for those in need
Free Speech
Legal protection of information, ideas and opinions
What Prioritising Your Choice Looks Like
Foundation Party policies

National Independence
While the politicians are trapped by the referendum result, most of them would prefer we re-joined the EU as soon as possible.
We believe the United Kingdom must forever remain a free, independent and democratically self-governing country in full control of its own laws and its own future.

School Choice
We will introduce a radical new school system and grant poorer kids greater access to private schools.
Schools will receive funding from the spending of parent-issued vouchers and will thus compete more directly with all other schools and become more incentivised to improve their offering.

Guaranteed Income
Replacing an overly-complex and stressful benefits system, we will simplify welfare and guarantee a minimum income.
A Negative Income Tax replaces Universal Credit and purpose-specific benefits with a simple credit paid directly to the individual, gradually withdrawn the more job income earned, leaving the recipient free to choose how it is spent.

TV Licence Scrapped
We will abolish this last century television poll tax.
The BBC will be moved to a private subscription model. Those who wish to consume the BBC will be free to subscribe and fund the BBC. Those that do not will not be forced to do the same.

Free Speech Protected
No one has the right not to be offended.
While left-wing intolerance of free speech is rife in universities and company HR departments, we will protect the free flow of peaceful information, ideas and opinions – offensive or not.

Land Value Tax
Land value increases over time because of investment by the local community. This should be taxed and paid back to the community as society’s principal tax.
No more Income Tax, Council Tax, Corporation Tax, etc. What you earn through your labour and productivity is yours to keep.

New Grammar Schools Permitted
Politicians have no moral right to tell parents what sort of education their child may or may not benefit from.
We will repeal the rules that currently prevent the establishment of new grammar schools.

Devolution to Local Counties
We will devolve major powers such as health, education, housing, policing and criminal justice down to counties and metropolitan areas.
One size does not fit all. Major decisions ought to be tailored to local communities and residents better able to hold decision-makers, spending their money, to account.

Businesses Free From Excessive Rules
We must minimise misguided government command and control, and eliminate huge unnecessary costs for millions of businesses and the unfair disadvantage for small business.
A sunset clause must be applied to all EU-originated regulation that leads to their expiry, unless they can be reasoned and justified afresh.

Referendum Before Constitutional Change
Never again will a majority of short-stay politicians be legally permitted to transform our national constitution without the people’s consent first.
Parliament has no right to transfer sovereignty for example to global institutions like the European Union unless instructed to do so by the people.

Global Free Trade
There is no more effective way to reduce the cost of vital goods and services for everyone, including the poorest, than to cut tariffs and other restrictions on international trade.
We will unilaterally cut tariffs and pursue trade deals that would reduce trade barriers on both sides.
And many more!
I’m an elected Foundation Party councillor because I believe in democracy and greater accountability.
The main parties too often take the people for granted. Too many councils waste our money and run services poorly – if they haven’t bankrupted them. It’s time for a change of attitude.
