5. What Data Do We Collect?

2. We do not store credit card details nor do we share financial details with any 3rd parties. Credit card and other financial details, such as those of a bank account for the purpose of authorising a direct debit, are processed and stored by highly reputable secure 3rd party payment gateways, e.g. PayPal.
3. From time to time We will host online surveys, polls and questionnaires on Our Site. We will use the data you provide to improve our understanding of political life in the United Kingdom, compile and provide anonymous statistics about voters in the United Kingdom, facilitate our operation as a political party; and help the Party in developing messages and policies to include in campaign and election literature.

1. All personal data is processed and stored securely, for no longer than is necessary in light of the reason(s) for which it was first collected. We will comply with Our obligations and safeguard your rights under the GDPR   at all times. For more details on security see section 7, below.

Our use of your personal data will always have a lawful basis, either because it is necessary for Our performance of a contract with you, because you have consented to Our use of your personal data (e.g. by subscribing to emails), or because it is in Our legitimate interests. Specifically, We may use your data for the following purposes:

Please note that We do not control the activities of such third parties, nor the data they collect and use and advise you to check the privacy policies of any such third parties.

9. Donations and Electoral Commission Publication

If you make a donation that exceeds the value of £500, We are required under the Political Parties Elections and Referendums Act 2000 to check that you are on the electoral register. If your donation exceeds £1,500, or exceeds £7,500 to Us nationally in the course of a calendar year, under the Political Parties Elections and Referendums Act 2000 we are required to report your name and the amount of your donation to the Electoral Commission for publication on their public register.
